spring dream

your newly planted potatoes and onions
are drowning in a stormy sea inside a womb
and you are there too curled into yourself
with a potato eye for your penis
you contemplate sprouting and coming
into this world while i cast a line
and fish for you
reeling you in
one layer
at a time

after
the
rain
the
worms
egg moon
